Well, today we dyed our first Easter eggs. Our friends Stephanie, Brayden and Logan Talbert came over for the fun and then enjoyed lunch with us.
The kids had a blast! We are all covered in egg dye, but what fun! They dug in the bowls of dye with both their little hands. Brayden even tried to put his eggs in his mouth.
It is days like today, when I am reminded of the joy children bring to adults. We all get a do-over when we have children--Christmas, Easter, even stopping and smelling flowers--we slow down a little more to soak in the magic of innocence, of childhood, of life. Thank God above that he has blessed us with precious children and the "mulligan" that is parenthood!
